Photo Sharing
Photo Storage
WhatsApp uses end-to-end encryption to protect users data and conversations. Therefore, WhatsApp does not store any user data including photos or other media on its server, and all the photos shared are encrypted on the sender's device and can only be decrypted on the recipient's device. When you receive a photo from a contact, it gets automatically downloaded and stored in your phone's gallery, and deleted from WhatsApp servers. Later, if you access these photos from the Web, it is uploaded back with end-to-end encryption and synced with your web browser instance, and yet again deleted from the WhatsApp server. Therefore, WhatsApp doesn't store any photos and does provide cloud storage for photos you upload.
Pixinoid is specialized photo sharing application provides secure cloud storage for photos and media uploaded, and this can be accessed from any device. Pixinoid's free plan provides 5 GB of storage per album for 15 days, for photographers and event organizers seeking additional storage and longer validity, Pixinoid offers affordable paid plans tailored to their needs.
Photo Sorting
WhatsApp do not have any features for sorting or grouping photos. When you receive photos from people, you must download them to view them, especially if it was sent to you as the original file. When they are downloaded, they get mixed in with your phone's gallery, thus making it quite difficult to find the specific photos you are looking for.
Pixinoid provides a wide variety of ways to sort, filter and search for your photos. You can create private albums for different events and share photos with friends and family, and organize them all in a digital album backed up in the cloud. All photos get labelled automatically by our AI, allowing you to easily search for them. Similarly, with our advanced set of filters and sorting options, you can view photos by location, date, etc. as well as bookmark and save them. With our AI-face search feature, you and other guests can search and find photos that feature them, simply by clicking a selfie.
